Mutual matching

Private conversation becomes available after two people like each other. A match is not verification or a guarantee of compatibility.

Privacy controls

Community, ancestral state and hometown are self-declared. You can choose whether each appears on your profile, and Origin Dating does not disclose precise location.

Report and block

Use Report on a profile or conversation to send a concern to authorized moderators. Blocking prevents new contact. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services rather than relying only on an in-app report.

Safer conversations and meetings

• Keep early conversations inside the app.
• Never send money or sensitive financial information.
• Meet in a public place, arrange your own transport and tell someone you trust.
• Leave whenever you feel uncomfortable.
